Petrohub rock composition analysis platform

Petrohub is a platform that uses neural networks to analyze rock compositions.

Geologists study the mineral composition of rocks by examining thin sections—slices of rock prepared for microscopic analysis.

Using a microscope image of a thin section, the Petrohub neural network identifies mineral inclusions, outlines their boundaries, and generates a list of inclusions.

The researcher rotates the thin section at different angles to get a clearer view of the minerals.

If the neural network makes a mistake, the geologist manually corrects the mineral identification.

The main page displays all the samples currently being analyzed. Geologists can add new samples here. On the left panel, the samples are grouped by deposits and boreholes.
