The Bubulearn app for speech therapy sessions
Speech therapists help children start speaking and correctly articulate sounds.
In Bubulearn, they work with children remotely. We designed an app that makes it convenient for speech therapists to conduct lessons while keeping children engaged with interactive tasks.
Lesson
During a session, the speech therapist demonstrates exercises, and the child mimics them. The child’s screen is split in two, allowing them to see both themselves and the exercises clearly.
The purple monster is Bubulearn’s mascot, which we created. The mascot does the exercises along with the child, helping to maintain motivation and minimize distractions.
The mascot is capable of performing all the necessary exercises.
It expresses emotions too. If the child performs an exercise poorly, the speech therapist sends a reaction with a sad monster.
If the child does well, the reaction shows a happy mascot.
The speech therapist can see the child full-screen to monitor the correct execution of exercises.
Preparation for the lesson
For each session, the speech therapist sets up a lesson in the library. They arrange sounds and images in a specific order to avoid wasting time searching during the lesson. The speech therapist can upload their own materials or use pre-made selections.
