Tickets and ranger app for Pribaikalsky National Park

Pribaikalsky National Park is a protected area near Lake Baikal in Irkutsk Oblast. To enter, visitors must first obtain a permit. We designed the entire journey—from getting a permit to exploring the park.

Visitors get a permit in three simple steps:

1. Choose a route, select the dates, and enter vehicle details.

2. Enter details for all group members. Discounts are available for students and Irkutsk Oblast residents. Don’t forget to bring your IDs.

3. The group leader receives all permits by email and becomes the main contact for park staff.

After payment, tourists can save the permit on their phone or print it out. The printed version folds neatly into thirds so it’s compact, while keeping all key information visible on the front.

Ranger App

Park rangers monitor the territory, check permits, and let visitors begin their routes.

The ranger scans the QR code on the permit.

The digital version of the permit opens, and the ranger checks the details.

If a violation is found, the ranger files a report and logs it in the app.

Several rangers can share one tablet, each logging in under their own account.

Internet is only available at the ranger station. The app syncs with the database when online and works offline the rest of the time.

At night, the app automatically switches to dark mode for easier use.

Icons

For the park rules, we created icons inspired by local rock art.
